Tiny, edible sunflower seed kernels are mainly used in the confectionary industry. One ounce of roasted kernels contains 170 calories and is a good source of protein, fibre, zinc, folate and vitamin B6, and supplies about one-third of the Daily Value for vitamin E and phosphorus. The seeds are also rich in healthful unsaturated fatty acids. All confectionary sunflower kernels, also known as Confection, are made from low-oil sunflower suitable for direct consumption.

Packing and Export
Packing is usually done in 15, 20 or 25 KG three layer paper bags, and exported in 40 feet containers which carry 25 metric tons or 20 feet containers which carry 18 metric tons.
